Got up early this morning to prepare the starter for Christmas dinner.

At 9:30, Auntie K phones to say they won't be coming up today, because she wasn't very well! :(

Trivial argument at 2pm; Sisters arguing over who does the washing up! :roll:

Presents;

Dad: Doctor Who Series Two Boxset! :>> (Ooh, Christmas special this evening!).
Big Sister: A Pink (what else?!) Drivers Licence holder - with my initials, as well! :D
Grandma Ashwell: A cheque for ten pounds!
Granny & Granddad Thompson: Pajamas (again! Not that I'm complaining...)
Mr and Mrs McA: A scarf and gloves (plus instructions on different ways to wear a scarf!)
Mr and Mrs D: CHOCOLATE!

Well, now I know that I don't need to buy pajamas, because Granny will buy them for me every year; I probably have enough scarfs to last for the rest of my life; and maybe I can carry my drivers licence around with me, now.

And here's the words to my favourite carol (sung to a West Indian style tune!);

1. The virgin Mary had a baby boy,
the virgin Mary had a baby boy,
the virgin Mary had a baby boy,
and they say that his name is Jesus.
Refrain:
He come from the glory,
he come from the glorious kingdom.
He come from the glory,
he come from the glorious kingdom.
Oh, yes! believer! Oh, yes! believer!
He come from the glory,
he come from the glorious kingdom.

2. The angels sang with the baby was born,
the angels sang with the baby was born,
the angels sang with the baby was born,
and they say that his name is Jesus.
(Refrain)

3. The shepherds came where the baby was born,
the shepherds came where the baby was born,
the shepherds came where the baby was born,
and they say that his name is Jesus.
(Refrain)

4. The Wise Men came where the baby was born,
the Wise Men came where the baby was born,
the Wise Men came where the baby was born,
and they say that his name is Jesus.
(Refrain)
