Nabbed from AJ's Blog.
1) Shakespeare or the Bible.
Difficult one, as both have their fair share of blood and sex and stuff. Suppose it has to be the Bible, because it has Jesus in it and he said some cool stuff about not being violent, etc.
2) Most romantic moment in fiction.
The ending of Jane Eyre
3) Favourite word?
Random, random and random!
(Would it be anything else?)
4) Most overrated writer
Not sure. I don't like to think of a writer as overrated, because they are all good at what they do; even if it is churning out a franchise (looking at you, JK!).
5) Most underrated writer
Not sure of that one. Might have to read a bit more fiction to decide that!
6) Best meal in literature
Whenever they sit around the tea urn in Anna Karenina.
7) Favourite novel in translation
Favourite translated novel? Probably The Moomins, Anna Karenina or Crime and Punishment.
8) Favourite children's book
It's either The Moomins by Tove Jansson, or The Enchanted Wood books by Enid Blyton.
9) Books by your bedside
Lord of The Rings (Perpetually unfinished)
The Bible (Rarely read)
The Land of Miracles by Stephen Smith (Actually reading it at the moment, it's about life in Cuba)
10) Sexiest book
Nineteen Eighty Four

"Lord of The Rings (Perpetually unfinished)" - that's probably true for about 98% of people who own the thing! I refuse to watch the films until I've read them!
