Another day, another group/country to offend for Nic Sharky of France. After his Burkha* comments last week, he's now offended the Israeli right-wing for saying that a militant right winger should be "removed from his position".
That was welcomed by some Israeli members of Parliament, particularly a Palestinian. Others see it as President Sarky sticking his big nose in to their business. Insightful comment, or outsider meddling? You decide.
From big noses commenting to big twats tweeting, Ashton Kutcher - famous for looking like a teenager and not much else - sees himself as a PR dude for The Obama Administration by urging people to get tested for HIV. Apparently it's serious, but I'm sure it's one of those spam emails which claim they've been send by an "official" source and subtly tell you to PASS IT TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS!
The latest news equivalent of spam has faded from the front pages (and in our faces) and settled into a more comfortable place on the entertainment pages. Meaning it is now safe to pick up The Guardian, without being subjected to this rehashed and reprinted non-news. Yay!
*A Burkha is a form of dress which covers the female face and all the body. Though if I wear it, I think I'd still get comments from little boys about my breasts
