So asylum seekers don't get priority in social housing. That's right, Twat Griffin and Mordon Broom!
87% - that's eighty seven percent - of social tenants were born in the UK. So scratch that off your election leaflets, Griffin! Makes Mordon's band wagon jumping announcement of last week look very silly, too.
Perhaps instead of scapegoating (I know it's inconvenient for Griffin and his cronies) you could build more social housing, or maybe do something with all those hundreds of empty houses in London alone. Like, issue a compulsory purchase order - or something. But, no, that's far too logical and far too much like hard work. Much easier to blame the most defenceless group.
Maybe if there was more social housing, or more homes available for renting, there will be less reason to blame migrants for not getting a house.
But I think that is far too logical.

There are lies damned lies and statistics Ros. What percentage of people applying for social housing are UK born, what percentage of the population are new immigrants? What percentage of applicants are asylum seekers?
When the official figures don't make sense people will believe rumours and gossip and their own perceptions.
The official figures are no more reliable than Griffin's
And of course nobody wants to fill the unoccupied houses because they really want to bulldoze them and build new on greenfield sites as there is more money in that.
And will new build social housing be built on PGI contracts coz if it it it will be shite and nobody will want to live in it.
Western civilisation has been burtied under bureaucracy.
