I wonder how many agency workers know about working tax credits? And I wonder how many of them know that unless you're working 30 hours plus for more than four weeks at the time of the claim, you can't claim anything? Because I've only just found that out this morning, after calling Nice Tax Credit Person at HMRC.

I've only worked about two weeks since the beginning of April, and because I didn't realise sooner that I can claim, I'm losing money while barely anyone is booking agency staff. Is that fair, because it sure doesn't seem like it is!

I worked for 13 weeks at one job, and 9 at another last year - does that not count for anything? Surely I should be able to claim back for that, if the tax man is allowed to chase us for the tax we owe for last year. But no, it seems in this country it's the rich and powerful who are allowed to demand payment from everyone else - it doesn't work the other way round.

Meanwhile, I'm stuck here wondering where my next full time job is coming from, and only 3 hours work scheduled for this week. I keep looking for permanent work, but none of them are even responding to my applications.
