So the Labour corner of twitter is outraged because "the ConDem (how I hate that phrase) government are dismantling the NHS" by replacing NHS Direct with NHS 111. Now, I'm not sure if this is right or wrong - don't know enough about the subject. I'm just interested by the responses of some.
"It is yet more evidence that Andrew Lansley is on a vindictive mission to break up the NHS, ruthlessly dismantling services before alternatives are in place."
Baron Prescott of Pies-Upon-Hull is leading the campaign with his mug on the telly, and his fat fingers on his twitter page.
Meanwhile, others have been doing some digging and come up with this article from just over a year ago, about a plan to change - what else - NHS Direct. And who was Health Secretary at the time? Oh yes, Andy Burnham!
Funny, Labour complain about the Lib Dems "abandoning their manifesto", and Labour seem to be forgetting theirs!
